All images are made from the time my depression started and self-portraits, as well as portraits of friends and strangers and street photography in particular helped me to heal.

Photography was and still is to this day meditative to me- I am grateful to have found my Ikigai since 2009.

This compilation is about my favorite people, who either have left this world or still exist and live a meaningful life.

Below you’ll find another compilation of images which are made with a compact film camera that my mom gave me at the age of 6. It is the very beginning of my photography journey.

This is a collection of film photos that I have made during my childhood, teenage and in my twenties.

Little did I know, that my mom made me the best gift in my early age of 6 years (not only that my depression didn’t last long due to the healing effects of this meditative form).

With a red Panasonic analog camera I made my first snapshots of people and my life in general.

One day in India when she visited us her last time, she used to say : you really look happy while making photos.
